“Tech Within Reach – Community Impact Through Accessible Technology”

Despite the rapid growth of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, many community organizations and grassroots initiatives still face barriers in accessing, updating, and effectively implementing new digital tools in their work.

To address this challenge, the Movement Incubation Program 2026 officially opens applications for community-driven projects seeking support and collaboration from Vietnam Rise. The 2026 Call for Proposals aims to promote the application of technology in civil society work, making technology more practical, accessible, and impactful for local communities. The 2026 program runs from July 15, 2026 to November 15, 2026.

We are looking for initiatives that are grassroots-driven and aim for making an impact for communities in Vietnam.

Selected projects will receive a seed grant, along with four months of mentorship, movement training, digital wellness check, and technology coaching. The aim is not to chase technological trends, but to position technology as a practical, accessible, and locally relevant tool for meaningful impact.

The Movement Incubation Program 2026 also hopes to build an ecosystem where groups not only receive initial support, but are also equipped with organizing skills, technological capacity, and long-term connections. This is also an opportunity for community organizations to keep pace with digital transformation trends, thereby improving operational effectiveness and expanding positive impact on communities.
